Seniors Connect: Daniel Mallari The Popera Show

7 OCTOBER 2026

Logan Entertainment Centre

The much-loved Logan Seniors Big Day Out is evolving in 2026 and will be delivered as Seniors Connect, a special Queensland Seniors Month celebration.

Building on the strong sense of community that has made the event so popular, the refreshed format offers seniors an engaging experience that celebrates connection, participation and the valuable contribution senior residents make to our community.

Attendees can choose from two performances of The Popera Show by acclaimed Australian vocalist Daniel Mallari. Combining light classical favourites, popular standards and contemporary hits, this vibrant performance delivers an entertaining mix of music from artists including Andrea Bocelli, The Righteous Brothers, Ed Sheeran and Robbie Williams.

The event will also feature a free interactive activity for seniors, opportunities to connect with Council services and event partners, and a take-home information bag containing resources and promotional materials from organisations that support the Logan community. Guests will also have the opportunity to speak face-to-face with representatives from some of Logan City Council's valuable services throughout the day.

The refreshed format complements the wide range of programs, services and events available to seniors across Logan while continuing Council's commitment to fostering connection, inclusion and active participation.
