Linde Ivimey - I will remember you

Jan Murphy Gallery is pleased to present 'I will remember you', a new exhibition by Linde Ivimey. 

"The works in this exhibition are made using a vast assortment of materials: bone, fibres, fabric, remnants, offcuts, and the like. Almost everything I use has had a life before it reaches my hands. This history becomes part of each sculpture's character, and in their coming together, the works begin to operate as charms, shaped through accumulation, intuition, and care.

In this exhibition at Jan Murphy Gallery, these materials move beyond the studio and take on a renewed presence. 'I will remember you' brings together a group of recently made sculptures, poppets, and charms, each shaped by the lives they have already held." – Linde Ivimey, 2026 

Artworks by Ivimey are held in numerous public collections including the National Gallery of Victoria, National Gallery of Australia, Rockhampton Museum of Art, University of Queensland Art Museum, Newcastle Art Gallery as well as important private collections nationally and internationally.
