Hoppin Habitats
Hoppin Habitats is a small Brisbane campervan hire and custom Hiace fitout business based at its Tingalpa workshop, about ten minutes from Brisbane Airport. The fleet is hand-built in-house and hired out to travellers heading along the East Coast.
Three vans make up the fleet — Archi II (high-top Hiace, two-wheel-drive), Hitop Hiace (high-top, two-wheel-drive) and Archi 4x4 (purpose-built four-wheel-drive for unsealed roads and remote-area travel). Every van has full insulation, a complete kitchen, comfortable beds, and the in-house comb bed mechanism that extends sideways for a king-size sleep. The finish leans more tiny-home than rental-fleet utility.
Every hire includes comprehensive insurance, roadside assistance, bedding, full cooking kit, fridge, vent fans and a daily kilometre allowance. Pickup is by appointment from the Tingalpa workshop with a full walkthrough — no airport counter queue, no franchise rules.
Hoppin Habitats also builds custom Hiace conversions for owners, specialising in the Toyota Hiace platform exclusively.
