Blue Tongue Kitchen — Award-Winning Bayside Cooking School
Proud winners of the 2024 Redlands Business Excellence Awards, Blue Tongue Kitchen is Thorneside's premier chef-led cooking school offering innovative and inspiring culinary experiences for all skill levels.
Classes are small, intimate and social — never intimidating. Led by in-house Chef Claudio, every session is a relaxed, immersive experience where learning and laughter go hand in hand. And because food is best enjoyed together, every class finishes with the opportunity to sit down and savour creations, paired with a complimentary drink from the fully licensed kitchen.
What's on offer:
During the week, Blue Tongue Kitchen runs structured NDIS Cooking Programs — 10-week programs running Monday to Friday, with three classes per day, each focusing on a new recipe. Designed to build real culinary skills, confidence and independence in a warm, fully supported environment.
On weekends, Open Cooking Classes for adults and kids welcome the broader community. Guests enjoy a complimentary glass of wine as they cook, then gather together to enjoy their creations for lunch or dinner.
Custom classes are also available for birthdays, corporate events, or special occasions.
